PT A Bailarina de Degas é um conto infantil, que faz parte do livro Histórias Que Acabam Aqui, da autora Teresa Lopes (Disponível em www.dominiopublico.gov.br). O projeto foi produzido com finalidade de desenvolvimento de portfólio.
Telma é uma menina criativa com grande imaginação, adora brincar e explorar a biblioteca de sua casa, foi lá que descobriu um livro de arte e se apaixonou pelas pinturas de Edgar Degas, que retratam lindas cenas de bailarinas. A partir deste momento, o ballet se tornou sua paixão, está sempre entrando de fininho na biblioteca para ver as belas obras de Degas, se imaginando dentro delas ou está no bosque, dançando como uma das bailarinas do pintor.

Telma is a creative girl with hugh imagination, she loves to play and explore the library at her house, it was there where she discovered an art book and fell in love with Edgar Degas' paintings, which depict beautiful scenes of ballerinas. From that moment on, ballet became her passion, she is always sneaking into the library to see Degas' beautiful paintings, imagining herself inside them or she is in the woods, dancing like one of the painter's ballerinas.
PT A caracterização da personagem e a criação dos cenários foram pensados com uma atmosfera dos anos 60-70, pela presença de alguns elementos no texto, como Bosque, Biblioteca, Reposteiro, Pinturas, entre outras coisas que remetem a um tempo passado. Com isso, foi possível criar um ambiente mais intimista, como se fosse um mundo que pertence somente à personagem. Outra referência fundamental para as ilustrações foram as próprias obras de Edgar Degas, A bailaria com buquê, citada no livro, foi usada como base para a ilustração da página 4, onde Telma aparece ocupando o lugar da protagonista do quadro. Além disso, a paleta de cores definida para a pintura das ilustrações tem como base as pinturas de Degas.
EN The desing of the character and the creation of the scenarios were designed with an atmosphere of the 60s and 70s, due to the presence of some elements in the text, such as the Woods, Library, Portière, Paintings, among other things that refer to a past time. With this, it was possible to create a more intimate environment, as if it were a world that belonged only to the character. Another fundamental reference for the illustrations were the works of Edgar Degas, Dancer with a Bouquet Bowing, mentioned in the book, was used as the basis for the illustration on page 4, where Telma appears taking the place of the protagonist of the painting. Furthermore, the color palette defined for painting the illustrations is based on Degas' paintings.
